Ithey do take major credit cards and it's a BYOB.
Excellent Italian food! I have been here few times with family and we never had a bad dish. Pasta is home made and is always on point. The only downside is that it’s a small space and you need to get reservation early. Since it’s a small space you need to take into consideration that if there is a loud table next to yours, you will shouting over each other. BYOB
Quaint. Authentic. Delicious. BYOB. Make reservations.
Staff is always kind and professional. Maria, the manager always welcomes us with a smile. The food is sublime. The cauliflower ravioli is to die for-- it is unique and like a fluffy pillow. The pork shank is great: the meat falls off the bone and the jous is terrific. The stuffed zucchini, stuffed baby eggplant and fennel salad are wonderful starters. Really, anything you get here makes you feel like you've taken a trip to Italy. It's a BYOB place, so bring your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy.
Excellent old school italian with white tablecloths and attentive service. Good portions and reasonable prices. Frank is a good chef and gracious host.
Nice atmosphere. Very cozy. Comfort Italian food. Busy Saturday night. However I did find the food somewhat salty. The service was mediocre at best. Very long to serve. Overall ok. This is coming from an experienced Sicilian cook. Ordered pulpa (octopus), Melanzane croquette (eggplant), buffalo mozzarella, butternut squash ravioli, and monkfish special. Finally the check came after our party of six was there for 2 1/2 hours. The minute we paid we were ask to leave our table due to the fact that others were waiting at the door. I have dined all over the world and never have been asked to vacate my table one the check was paid. I guess our 20 percent plus tip was not enough for the arrogance of this establishment. I have to say I have eaten much better than you. You need to teach your staff how to treat your patrons. You will not be able to maintain your status if you treat everyone in manner. Therefore, you lost me as customer.
A hidden gem. Small restaurant, very European style with tables tight next to each other. Start to finish everything was excellent/fresh. Known for their cheesecake & tiramisu, too full to try; next time. Friendly staff, owners are hands on.
Great food and lovely venue. Authentic Italian cuisine so bring your best wine here!
Family friends, good food, great company
Excellent food and service although the seating is a bit cramped.
You've got a menu's worth of specials - print it out because it's tough to remember 20 dishes. Food - pasta out of a box. Apps were weak as were entrees
Loved it! Food was great! Setting very cozy and great for small groups like we were. Keep it up, will revisit.
Never in my life have I had a waiter call my party “rude” for inquiring about where the final entree was while everyone at the table sat with their food in front of them for 15 minutes. If the kitchen is backed up, let us know. If you forgot about an entree, let us know and apologize. Good food, terrible service. Quite honestly, the waiter who rolled his eyes and smacked his lips when confronted about his own attitude toward our table and my family should be ashamed of himself.
Outstanding food!
This is a very quaint small restaurant in Rumson. Perfect BYOB. Food is a bit expensive but well worth it. The baby octopus was super tender, the monkfish medallions was cooked perfectly. The pork chop you could cut with a butter knife. The pork chop ranks right up there with Salt Creek Grill and Rum Runners. They offer a great selection of specials. Portions are nice size, you can definitely split an appetizer.
Good place and food, very Italian taste
Food is beyond delicious!! Only thing better is the friendly and helpful staff
We've been there many times, and every meal has been delicious. It's a very small restaurant, and the service is always very personal and very friendly.
Incredible is the only word that can describe the food in this place. Very small restaurant with authentic Northern Italian food. Service takes a little bit longer than normal however this is because every appetizer and main course plate is made-to-order from scratch. Highly highly highly recommend
Authentic Italian food
The best Italian food i have ever tasted!!!
Excellent Italian food as well as a great atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food was delicious!!
Good service, friendly staff but for me typically heavy laden and portions big enough for two or more...made it a bit TOO MUCH!!! BYO too,I always question this being an out of town-er.
Very good food, crowded, but we had a large party. Tjhey did a very good job as with such a large party they didn't make us wait very long
Great Italian food, family owned and operated.
Food was of the best I ever had delicious and different menu changes but always great
Very small and quaint. All delicious food! Generous portions
Good service. Enjoyed the filet mignon with prune sauce.
My bad I would go again
Never disappointed, always overwhelmed with the incredible food and the wonderful service! Just enjoyed a fantastic birthday dinner for a friend! Cannot wait to enjoy my birthday dinner in a few weeks!
Excellent authentic Italian food that grandma would make.
Long wait, but man the food was well worth it. Thank you
Consistently great....🍽❤
Love, Love, Love this place! Food is Detectible, Service is Impeccable, BYOB, around the corner from one if the most expensive restaurants in Monmouth. That said, Ristorante Giorgio is as good if not better! Want a home cooked meal this is the place. But .... shhhhhh ... Don't tell too many people or we will never get in.
We've been here a few times and I have to say I am a bit underwhelmed. Our most recent visit proved to be our last. It was our 9 year anniversary and we got probably the worst table in the house- 2 top by the door, so my husband was stuck by half a wall and people standing next to him waiting for a table. The food was good-nothing exceptional- my salad barely had any dressing on it, I basically had dry arugula salad for $12. Our entree's were again, good but nothing exceptional. The Berkshire's pork chop was smaller than expected-especially when compared to the pork chop's that you can get at Salt Creek or Angelica's-this was nothing special. We also had a fish special..it was good, but I could make it at home. Our dirty plates sat at the table for at least 20 minutes before our server came back to us. And all the while my husband is trying to eat while being bumped by people going in and out of the restaurant. The pasta's are very good- but its not enough for us to want to go back.
Hands down one of the very few family style and homemade Italian restaurants to dine at. Not overcrowded due to space which makes it a perfect romantic dinner place 👍
Always delicious😋🥂
